December Giveaway: The Story of Saiunkoku Volume 1

I ended up with an extra copy of the first volume of The Story of Saiunkoku, a fun fantasy shoujo series that features a strong heroine!

To enter the giveaway, just comment with the title of the manga you’d most like to get for the holidays. I’ll randomly pick a winner next Sunday.

And the winner is: Yalimar. Congrats!

  1. I’d love for Santa to drop me off a copy of Nabari No Ou vol 1 this year, even though I’m in the midst of reading a couple series I can’t resist starting another one 🙂

  2. I’d like to get Kamisama Kiss 1 or Skyblue Shore 1.

  3. man…thats a hard decision. OOku volume 1. It sounds freakin awesome!

  4. I was really hoping for The Strange Tale of Panorama Island, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be coming out until sometime next year.

  5. I’d love to get Saiunkoku actually, but besides that I’d like to see What a Wonderful World vols. 1&2 by Asano Inio under the tree!

  6. Zoe Alexander says

I would love to see A Drunken Dream and Other Stories under the tree. It’s a little too expensive for me to consider buying for myself, but if it was a gift, that would be great!

  7. I’d like to find Moto Hagio’s A Drunken Dream and Other Stories under the tree this year, especially since I’ve heard so much about it.

  8. If someone were to get me a surprise Chanukah gift, I’d love Ooku: The Inner Chambers vol 4 by Fumi Yoshinaga or The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service vol 11. I love both series, but don’t have the budget for them anymore.

Shurei is such an inspiring, strong female character (from what I saw of the anime a few years back) that The Story of Saiunkoku would be a gret gift as well! 😀

  9. If someone got me a gift this Christmas, I’d like it to be Vampire Kisses: Blood Relatives. That manga sounds so amazing. It would make my Christmas.

  10. I’m really hoping to get some more of the CLAMP omnibus volumes from Dark Horse~ (especially the second Chobits volumes and the first Cardcaptor Sakura)

  11. I’ll go for something like Yotsuba 9 or Seiho Boys High School

  12. darkmoon0829 says

I would like to receive Missing Road from Dramaqueen. Fingers crossed!

  13. Yumeiro Patissiere for me please! ( ^ o ^ )

  14. Vassalord Vol. 4. I adore Nanae Chrono’s work so much.

  15. I’d love to find the last volume of Mushishi under the tree or maybe the last couple issues of Twin Spica. Decisions, decisions.

  16. Hmm, what do I want to see under my tree most this year? Tough call, considering I already have A Drunken Dream but for something I don’t have, I’d like to see The Art of Osamu Tezuka under there and for my birthday 4 days before Xmas I’d like to see all the volumes I’m missing for Hikaru no Go! Then read straight up through volume 21, yay!

  17. I’d probably most like to see the first Omnibus of Card Captor Sakura, one of my favorite series ever, but some Twin Spica wouldn’t hurt either.
